MANAGING PARTNER A.J. DE BARTOLOMEO LEADS TADLER LAW’S OBJECTION FOR REDUCED ATTORNEY FEES
Law360 spoke to Partner A. J. de Bartolomeo Hope Solo’s attorney “that her client is pleased with the court’s determination.” This is regarding Judge Klausner’s Order awarding “U.S. women’s national soccer team players 25% of the $22 million settlement fund for attorney fees in their equal pay suit against the U.S. Soccer Federation instead of the 30% requested, a decision aligned with ex-player Hope Solo’s contention the amount sought was excessive.” Law360 goes on to quote Ms. de Bartolomeo stating, “Ms. Solo’s focus has always been to ensure the maximum recovery for the class and the 5% reduction in the requested attorneys’ fee will increase the players pro rata share of the settlement.”
